Multiple sclerosis is an immune mediated demyelinating disorder of central nervous system causing impaired signal conduction in affected neurons resulting in various brain and spinal cord related symptoms. There are 2.8 millions patients suffering from MS worldwide, most of them are between the age of 20 and 40 years with females being affected more than males. Early diagnosis and initiation of DMTs under supervision of an MS team stays to the core of the proper management. People affected by MS are often left socially isolated and feeling lonely. The present theme, 'I Connect, We Connect' , thus challenges the social barriers to advocating better services and encouraging networking with social support groups. Let’s pledge to spread awareness about this disease amongst the general mass and to make the life of the patients a little better.
